Roermond is one of the best places in the Netherlands where I have traveled a lot for shopping. The main reason I came here for shopping is because Roermond has the largest Designer outlet where I can buy a lot of stuff like clothes, shoes, cosmetics, etc.. with the outlet prices.
On this paragraph, I want to tell you some tips to travel Roermond city which many people in Netherland call “funshopping”. I live in Arnhem, which situated in the eastern part of the Netherlands, and it takes me around 1 hour and 40 minutes to go to Roermond by train. But sometimes, it can take longer because of weather condition or railway maintenance (I have to take an extra bus) so based on my experiences, you should double check a lot on Reisplanner app just in case there are some problems with the train. After arriving to Roermond, the first thing you can see from the train station is a fun picture of Roermond words as well as the symbol of the city. Here are some pictures I took on my smartphone about it.
If you are lazy and do not want to spend around 30 minutes walking from train station to Designer outlet, you can take the buses 73, 372, 377. And finally, this is some information about the Designer outlet, it can take more than 3 hours to go through every shop that you like to go and you can get a map at the main gate for searching what is your priority or just keep to know where you are right now. I can tell you some of my favorites brands that I am always fond of such as Nike, Addidas, Desigual, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Scotch & Soda, Dr. Martens, Timberland, etc… The last thing I recommend to you is that you should follow the page Designer Outlet Roermond if you do not want to miss the biggest season sale of your favorite brands.
